Yes. Your first Explorer or Family plan starts with a 7-day free trial. You enter card details at checkout so billing can start on its own. Nothing is charged during the trial: the first payment happens when it ends, and you can cancel any time before that. The Free plan needs no card at all.

All AI interactions happen inside a sandbox with no open internet access and no tools. AI replies are generated through Google Gemini with safety filters on every request (harassment, hate speech and dangerous content blocked at medium-and-above). When the AI service is unavailable, the helpers answer with prepared replies. Prompts a child publishes to the public gallery are moderated before other children see them. There are no ads, no external links and no data resale. In the parent dashboard you see each linked child's lessons, XP, streak and achievements.

Yes. Open Billing in your account and choose Manage subscription. Stripe's billing page lets you cancel and update your card. After you cancel, the plan stays on until the end of the period you already paid for.

The first 3 lessons of Starter Island and the first 3 lessons of Prompt Forest, 6 lessons in all. Your child keeps their pet, XP, achievements and daily quests. Lessons your child already finished stay open on every plan.

Family covers up to 4 children linked to your parent account. Each child has their own login, pet and progress. With 4 children it comes to $$4.75 per child per month. Explorer covers one child: the first one you linked.

Your child sees a short note and an "Ask a grown-up" button. The kids' app shows no price and no payment screen. A tap sends you one notification in your account, plus an email when email is set up. More taps in the same week send nothing new.

No. AI Kids Academy is made for ages 6–15 with no prior experience. Kids start with prompting and creativity. Coding comes in gently in later worlds, always through play.
